日本山梨縣春日井綜合復健醫院等研究單位共同評估比較超弧刀、螺旋刀、電腦刀、加馬刀以及ZAP-X各系統在在轉移性腦腫瘤的治療計劃中的劑量和照射參數。對於較小腫瘤，ZAP-X在CI(適形性指數)和GI(劑量梯度指數)方面相對優越，數值與加馬刀類似，ZAP-X和加馬刀兩套系統的平均值無顯著差異。
